Doppelkopf is a card game for four people. Doppelkopf is especially popular in many regions of northern Germany, although the rules of the game vary regionally.
The Doppelkopf hand consists of 24 double-entry playing cards, i.e. 48 cards in total. These are divided into four suits with six duplicate cards each, which have their own counting value (also called eyes) regardless of the suit.
